About Blinc

Blinc Inc. built its reputation on a single idea: mascara that wraps each lash in a tiny water-resistant tube instead of painting it, so it holds all day without smudging and slides off with warm water. The brand has since grown into a full line of cosmetics and tools, all cruelty-free and vegan, and has been featured by Sephora, Vogue, Allure, Cosmopolitan and Glamour. Blinc’s wholesale business spans beauty supply stores, salons and spas, and regional distributors across the United States.

The Challenge

Blinc joined Overjoy in October 2025 as a software customer. The setup was done properly. A lead pipeline was configured with stages from Initial Interest through Order Pending, and three outreach campaigns were drafted targeting sustainable beauty stores, luxury retailers and vegan beauty shops.

While Blinc had a strong product and a healthy base of repeat customers, no one on the team had the hours to run new-account outreach and win-back campaigns on top of everything else.

The Solution

In August 2026, Blinc moved from the software plan to Overjoy Services.

The first step was lead sourcing. Overjoy's team added 1,184 qualified leads in the third week of August and kept the pipeline fed from there, sourcing 6,269 leads in total over the three months. Rather than the broad campaigns drafted a year earlier, the team rebuilt outreach around three retailer segments that fit Blinc's real buyer: beauty supply stores, salons and spas, and beauty distributors. Seven campaigns went live across those segments, each with hyper-personalized first-touch emails.

Volume ramped quickly. The first week of September reached 84 retailers. By the end of the month Overjoy was contacting more than 1,000 retailers per week, and it has held that pace since. Across the three months, 6,423 outreach emails reached 3,336 unique retailers.

Replies were worked by Overjoy's account team. Every interested retailer was qualified to confirm the owner or buyer was on the thread, since Blinc's notes made clear that mascara samples should only go to decision-makers. Qualified prospects were offered samples, and 88 sample kits shipped during the period. In October, the team also set up a dedicated reorder pipeline for retailers who had expressed interest in Blinc's Lash Depth line, so that follow-on demand from new accounts would be tracked rather than left to chance.

Results

In three months, Overjoy team fully delivered a full wholesale sales engine to Blinc. The managed service opened 144 new opportunities, 122 of them from retailers who replied positively. Of those, 37 placed opening orders. Attributed revenue from Overjoy-sourced accounts reached $8,861 across 44 orders, and the curve is steepening: the two most recent weeks alone produced 25 attributed orders worth $4,878, which puts the engine at roughly $2,500 per week.

That weekly figure is what matters. Blinc's existing accounts continued to reorder as they always had. What changed is that a second revenue stream now exists on top of them, built from retailers who had never heard of Blinc three months ago, and it compounds as each new account comes back for a second and third order.

"Switching to Overjoy Services was the difference between owning a tool and having a sales team. Three months in, we have new retailers ordering every week without anyone on our side chasing leads."

What's Next

Blinc's pipeline currently holds 92 active opportunities, most of them retailers who have received samples and are deciding on an opening order. The three retailer segments are still producing replies at a steady rate, and the team is preparing a fresh round of campaigns for late October to keep the top of the funnel full. With the reorder pipeline in place to capture repeat demand from newly won accounts, Blinc is positioned to grow its wholesale base steadily through the holiday season and into 2027, with Overjoy running the sales process end to end.
