Overjoy Acquires Fiber (YC S23) from Portalform

We’re excited to share that Overjoy has acquired Fiber (YC S23) from Portalform.

Fiber is an ETL and integrations platform built to make it easier to connect business-critical systems and keep data flowing reliably between them.

We’ve already been using Fiber behind the scenes at Overjoy. It powers our Shopify and Faire integrations, syncing the customer, product, and order data that our customers rely on every day.

Over the past three months, we’ve expanded that foundation significantly, adding integrations with QuickBooks and WooCommerce.

And we’re just getting started.

Next up are integrations with Cin7, NetSuite, Shippo, ShipStation, BigCommerce, and more.

Why we acquired Fiber

Wholesale sales doesn’t happen in a single system.

A consumer brand might run its storefront on Shopify, manage wholesale orders through Faire, accounting through QuickBooks, inventory through Cin7 or NetSuite, and fulfillment through ShipStation.

For Overjoy to become the system where wholesale teams actually run their business, we need to understand what is happening across all of those systems in real time.

That means knowing when:

  • a retailer places an order
  • an invoice gets paid
  • inventory changes
  • an order ships
  • a customer is due for a reorder
  • a sales opportunity turns into real revenue

Integrations aren't just infrastructure for us. They're what give Overjoy's AI agents the context they need to actually do work.

Building the data layer for agentic wholesale

Our vision for Overjoy goes beyond building another CRM.

We’re building AI agents that can find retailers, manage pipelines, follow up with buyers, drive reorders, process orders, and increasingly operate entire sales workflows on behalf of brands.

For those agents to be useful, they need a complete and continuously updated understanding of the business.

Fiber gives us the infrastructure to connect Overjoy deeply into the systems our customers already use, and makes it much faster for us to support the long tail of software that powers modern consumer brands.

By bringing Fiber into Overjoy, we can move much faster toward a future where a brand connects its existing stack once, and Overjoy can take action across all of it.

Shopify and Faire were the beginning. QuickBooks and WooCommerce are live now. Cin7, NetSuite, Shippo, ShipStation, BigCommerce, and many more are coming next.
